It’s never too late to improve your reading, spelling, writing, and math skills or to learn how to use a computer. If you are at a Grade 4 to 9 level, you can come to school full-time or part-time and work as fast as you choose. Each program is designed to meet your personal needs. Our Academic Preparation program will prepare you for high school studies.


   

Academic Preparation – Full -Time

• Reading 2, 3, 4 & 5
• Writing 2, 3, 4 & 5
• Math Foundations 1
• Math Foundations 2
• Essential Mathematics
• Communications and Computers
• Computer Fundamentals

Start dates: Aug 30, 2010; Jan. 5, 2011

Admission Requirements

• Applicants will normally be expected to obtain a minimum score on the BVC Admissions Placement Test.
• Where possible, applicants may provide an offical transcript or statement of marks.

Academic Preparation – Part-Time Days

Our part-time basic skills upgrading program offers flexible attendance commitments, individualized programs, and self-paced study. You can apply to start at any time. This program will focus on reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and math.
