This course is designed to meet the needs of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in performing the preparation and administration of immunizations. The course builds on previous LPN coursework in pharmacology and medication administration. This course provides new knowledge, skills, attitudes, and judgments necessary to become certified to administer immunizing/biological agents.
Prerequisite:
The applicant for this course must be an LPN who holds an active license and has successfully passed an Intramuscular and Intradermal Injection course approved by the College of Licenced Practical Nurses.
Student must provide registry number upon registration.
